Scientist and ordinary men follow the same methods but the only difference between scientist and ordinary men is that scientist follow law, hypothesis, theories, induction, deduction etc. When a person is given a hard and green apple he finds it sour.Again when he tastes the second apple which is green and hard he finds it sour. This is called the inductive method.By the time,he is given a green and hard apple he refuses it as he draws a general law that all green and hard apples are sour. This is what we call ideduction method. The more the general law is verified, the more convincing and universal it will be.Seeing the missing teapot and spoon, open window, marks on the ground we make a hypothesis that some thieves has taken it ...
