We are all Scientist

"We are all Scientist" is written by T.H Huxley(1825-95).He was an English biologist and anthropologist specialising in comparative anatomy."We are all Scientists" means that all men generally adopt the same method of working that scientists adopt.

Scientist and ordinary men follow the same methods but the only difference between scientist and ordinary men is that scientist follow law, hypothesis, theories, induction, deduction etc. When a person is given a hard and green apple he finds it sour.Again when he tastes the second apple which is green and hard he finds it sour. This is called the inductive method.By the time,he is given a green and hard apple he refuses it as he draws a general law that all green and hard apples are sour. This is what we call ideduction method. The more the general law is verified, the more convincing and universal it will be.Seeing the missing teapot and spoon, open window, marks on the ground we make a hypothesis that some thieves has taken it away.We are following some forms of reasoning which is exactly what is used by the scientists.Windows doesn't open itself, teapot and spoon doesn't get lost itself and marks doesn't come out of nowhere. This will help us to make a conclusion that the thief must have stolen the teapot and the spoon which will be verified by the police and the judge. But in most cases, an ordinary man’s hypothesis is based on an unreasonable thing.

So, it is wrong to say that we don’t use the scientific investigation to find out the reasons. And with the experiment just like in science, through the method of induction and deduction just like in science we reason out the things. That is why we all are scientist the only difference is we don't use scientific
